Going LIVE on the internet is exciting. In near real time, you're being seen and are communicating with viewers worldwide.
First off, when we say LIVE we mean that your content is being webcast as it happens.
On-Demand is the very same thing EXCEPT the content is available at anytime the viewer decides to view it. Once the event has happened, the recorded content is available online. Our clients like to preview the webcast content before it goes public and this allows them to make any changes.
It also allows us to "trim" the presentation so that when the viewer clicks on it, the presentation begins - this is usefull because sometimes with a LIVE shot, delays in getting the meeting started may create confusion to the viewer. We don't want that.
You might say that you would likeINTERACTIVITY with your viewers and you think you can only have that with a live shot? Read our discussion on interactivity to see how you can offer On Demand content without losing the interactive component.
WebCasting Networks does hundreds of live webcasts per year and we can help you go live with your event. We do like to explain up front the actual COSTS vs. BENEFIT of going LIVE vs. ON DEMAND and hope this has helped.
On-Demand content distribution is often included with our live services. Contact us to see how we can help you.
